Terms of Service

By creating an account or using OgeSync in any way, including adding a calendar with Google Instant Sync, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users, including organisers (calendar creators) and subscribers (people who add calendars).

OgeSync is a calendar platform. Organisers create event calendars and share them. People can add a calendar to Apple Calendar or Outlook as a calendar subscription, or to Google Calendar with Google Instant Sync. Each calendar app checks for changes on its own schedule, so we can't promise when changes will appear.

Subscribing with Google (no OgeSync account): you can add a public OgeSync calendar to Google Calendar by signing in with Google; no OgeSync account is created. OgeSync creates a separate calendar in your Google account and keeps it updated. The calendar's organiser is responsible for its content. Updates are delivered when possible and their timing isn't guaranteed; Google or OgeSync may delay them. You can pause or resume updates, or disconnect Google access, at any time from Manage subscription. We may stop updates for a calendar that is removed, or for misuse of the service.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person or organisation may not create multiple free accounts to bypass plan limits.

You must use OgeSync in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. This policy explains what content and behaviour is and is not allowed on our platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

OgeSync has a Free plan and paid plans.

• Price. Paid plans are billed in advance, in US dollars. Before you pay, checkout shows the base plan price, the card processing fee charged by our payment provider, Bachs, and the total. The card processing fee is set by Bachs and isn't part of the base plan price. Payments are taken by Flow Forward Nigeria Limited, the name shown at checkout.
• Your price stays. Your base plan price stays the same for as long as your subscription keeps renewing.
• Cancelling. You can cancel any time in Plans & billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and isn't renewed.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for up to ten days while the payment is retried. If it still fails, your plan moves to Free; your calendars and events are kept.
• Card details. Bachs handles your card on its own secure pages. OgeSync never receives your full card number or security code.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case under our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the law that applies to you.

• Your content: You own all calendars, events, and content you create on OgeSync. We do not claim ownership of your content.
• Our platform: OgeSync (the website, code, design, and brand) is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of it.
• Licence to us: By posting content on OgeSync, you give us a limited licence to display, distribute, and deliver that content to your subscribers via calendar feeds. This licence ends when you delete the content.

By you: You can close your account at any time by emailing ify@ogesync.com. We delete your data within 30 days of your request, as explained in our Privacy Policy. If you use Google Instant Sync, you can disconnect at any time from Manage subscription.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. We will try to give you notice before taking action, except in serious cases (e.g. illegal activity, spam, or harm to other users).

OgeSync is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, OgeSync's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or NGN 10,000, whichever is greater).

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, missed events, or data loss.

You agree to defend and hold harmless OgeSync and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of OgeSync after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of OgeSync will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria. Before going to court, we encourage you to contact us at ify@ogesync.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
